I have been using AlarmInfo for a while now, but recently switched a Sprint ACE and that is when my problem occurred.

For some reason some at different times an alarm seems to get stuck and go off and I can't figure out how to stop it. I have been reloading my phone, but figured there must be a better way.

For example: I have my alarm set for 9:00am, it goes off everything is fine. The next day I set my alarm for 8:45am. It goes off, but then the alarm at 9:00am goes off as well.

I want just one alarm time. I have looked at the alarms icon on WM6 and it does not show any alarms set, but again my phone alarm goes off twice.

Is there a registry setting where I can manually remove this bogus alarm time?

I have tried uninstalling MobileRob Alarminfo, but that does not work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

I have not heard of this happening before, however, with 6.1 came a second alarm.  AlarmInfo only sets and checks Alarm1.  If you have used Settings to set Alarm2, you will need to use settings to turn it off.

If this is not it, you will need to check with your phone network support group, or a good user forum, like www.pdaPhoneHome.com.

I use the standard MS program Settings.exe with alarm.cpl.xml parm file which it uses to set the alarm.  Try deleting the file:

\windows\alarm.cpl.xml

on the device.  That will make sure that anything that Alarminfo does to that file is restored to the ROM version.

I have used Alarminfo on my Q9c running 6.1 and had no issues, so I am not certain what is causing your issue.

Rob.
